Are we meant to be here?
This one is a follow up fan fiction on the tv series "One tree hill", Brooke and Haley are trying to get over the Scott brothers: Nathan and Lucas after a heartbreak. This fan fiction was quite short but was sticking to the story and was realistic.
Unexpected
This fan-fiction is on Gossip girl, with two simple characters from the book: Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass. It was very interesting to read because the time frame is in the future, 15years after Blair has left Chuck and when she appears again, she reveals that they have a daughter and she was too afraid to admit it before. Good length and the story is fairly appealing.
Bella's anatomy
This was another interesting one as the writer has mixed two characters from two different stories into one character. Bella from Twilight and Izzie from Grey's anatomy has come together as one individual and the fiction begins with her POV. She has changed her name (from Bella to Izzie) for a reason that hasn't yet been told in the fiction. It was good because it keeps the reader guessing and have some mystery there.
Hana yori diamond or Girls over his diamond
In this fan fiction, the writer has reversed the sex of the F4, as they consisted of 4 rich & good looking guys before, the writer changed this to 4 rich & beautiful girls. It was fascinating because by changing the sex, it gave more power to women and the story line would change so much.
Cell Block Tango
Used the movie "Chicago"'s OST "cell tango" and in coporated with the tv series "desperate housewives". It was interesting because I have never seen a song lyric being used for a fan fiction and somehow those two went well together. When each character was singing different bits, they all had their own stories to tell which kept me interested. Had the song playing in my head although all I was doing was reading. Quite smart.
The OC meets Gossip girl
This fan fiction is about Ryan and Marissa from OC going to Upper east side to meet Dan and Blair. And similarly, Serena and Nate going to New Port to meet Summer and Seth. I've seen and know both stories so it was nice to read.
Only the good die young
This fan fiction was on Chucky's point of view from Child's play. It is after Chucky's daughter has died and Chucky is looking back on his life and thinking how joyful life was after Stella came into his life. It was a different kind of fan fic because usually the other writings continue after what has happened in the actual movie/story, however in this fan fic the writer wrote about how Chucky thinks and feels about his own life after his daughter's death.
Return to Sydney
In this Finding Nemo fan fiction, the years passed since the rescue and although Nemo has a loving family, he feels out of place. One day, he decides to go on another adventure toward Sydney. The storyline is similar to the original story which makes it a little less exciting. However, it still makes the readers wonder what kind of barriers Nemo may face during the journey.
Living with the normal
It was definitely worth reading this fan fiction as I enjoyed watching the actual movie "Paranormal Activity". The fiction starts off from when Micah was thrown to the camera by Katie (with demon in her) which was pretty much the ending of the movie. Micah is seeing everything happen as a ghost/spirit and although he cannot do anything, he analyses everything that happens after his own death. It was fascinating even though there was no progress after Micah's death. The demon knew Micah's spirit was still there and kept going in and out of Katie's body, it kept me on the toes and made me as a reader to want to know more on what is going to happen next.
Just another day
This fan fiction is based on the novel "Notebook", but does not include any of the characters in the original story. However, the main character "Sarah" who is a daughter of Noah and Allie of the Notebook story. Sarah is a hopeless romantic just like her parents and she had a love of her life, Jason He was everything anyone could want and more but unfortunately one day she finds him in a car with a woman. Feeling depressed she doesn't listen to him and decides to leave to New York to start a new life. The first chapter finishs after Jason comes to say goodbye briefly. It makes me wonder what he had left to say about the woman and Sarah should stay to listen. On the other hand, it keeps me guessing what might happen once she gets to New York. Good storyline.
